We have a weekly Thursday sessions at Sleemans Sports Centre -Chandler Velodrome
Commencing Thursday15th October .
We have booked Chandler for Thursday evenings from 6.00 pm -9.00pm. Check Logan CCC website for any changes .
6.00pm untill 7.30 pm is for begginers and up to Juniors -U/15 ,,,,Senior and advanced Juniors with warm up from 7.00 pm and training from 7.30 - 9.00pm. (30min overlap for both sessions)
The sessions are suitable for novice track riders as well as experienced riders and will be organised with specific, planned drills designed to suit your training plans.
The sessions will run every week.. Sessions are divided into Sprint and Enduro, with sprinters and enduro riders having alternating 20 minute blocks of time.
We have the option of doing motor pacing where and when it's suitable. This will mainly be useful for sprinters doing assisted high speed drills, but some enduro exercises can benefit from motor pacing also.
This is primarily for Logan CCC riders, but we're extending an invite to non-LCCC riders.
Sessions are $10 per rider to attend for 2 hours, and if you've got a family talk to us and we'll see if we can give you a group discount. We need this to run at a small profit but we are not being greedy! We would much rather it break even and be well attended than profitable but have few regulars coming along.
Track bicycles can be hired but we'll need to pre-arrange that (will be a hire fee,approx $5) .We do have some club bikes for all ages but need prior notice to get them to the track (no hire fee for members of LCCC or new members)
This is our second year of doing this for us at Chandler and I hope many of you can come. Please support us by coming along and being part of it.
We will be doing our best to make it challenging and fun .
