Battle of the Border 2009
Logan City Junior Ben Carman was placed third overall in an exceptional effort amongst some of the States best U/15 boys at this years Battle of the Border Tour held in NSW.
Ben took 3rd in the 1st stage which was an individual Time Trial and then in stage 2 coming home 3rd well over a minute in front of the main group on his own.These two stages gave Ben enough time to hold onto 3rd overall over the 4 stages.Ben finished well up in the main gruops over the last 2 stages.
This was a great effort from a young boy who never gives up in any race.Well done Ben.
